In today’s digital age, children and adolescents face unprecedented challenges when navigating online spaces. Through hands-on workshops, expert insights, and interactive learning experiences, participants will gain the tools needed to help students develop critical thinking skills, manage screen time, and stay safe online.
In an era dominated by digital technologies, educators face the critical challenge of guiding students through a complex digital landscape. One of the central parts of all curricula is digital literacy, the skill of using technologies in various situations. Still, we are facing problems with digital addictions and other risks in children and teens. This intensive Erasmus+ Staff Week delves deep into digital literacies that can be supported at school as well into the intricate relationship between children, adolescents, and digital technologies.

Cultural Exploration Trip: € 100
"Authentic Prague" Cultural Trip followed by the Second Social Event with a lecture on the local pub tradition and its significance to citizenship and modern political history. This is optional and takes place usually on the 2nd day of the course.

Course cost can be fully coverd with your Key Action 1 grant under the Erasmus+ Program. MTI follows the official regulations on transparent costs.

Course Philosophy
The modern digital ecosystem demands that students develop specialized skills beyond basic technology proficiency. Beyond monitoring usage patterns, educators must foster comprehensive digital literacies in their classrooms. These include information literacy for evaluating online sources, data literacy for interpreting visualizations, computational thinking for problem-solving, digital communication skills, content creation abilities, cybersecurity awareness, technological adaptability, online wellness practices, and critical digital consumption. By developing these interconnected competencies, students can effectively navigate digital environments characterized by information overload, algorithmic influence, and communication challenges while becoming empowered digital users.

The process works as follows:
1/ Registration
To register for a course at MTI, start by filling out our Registration Form, where you'll provide your contact details, preferred course dates and any special needs.
2/ Confirmation & Invoice
Once we receive your registration, we will send you a Confirmation and an Invoice. You will needs these documents for your Erasmus+ funding application.
3/ Contract
The Erasmus+ funding process requires a signed Mobility Agreement. We will gladly assist you in completing this document to ensure everything is prepared correctly.
Deadlines

We recommend booking your place at least 6 weeks before the course start date to allow time for travel and accommodation arrangements.

When you register with us, your booking will be provisional. Payment is not required until your Erasmus+ funding has been approved.
-
Full payment is expected no later than 14 days before your course start date.
Erasmus+ Funding Information
All our Erasmus+ training courses are designed to meet the eligibility criteria for full funding under Erasmus+ KA1 (KA121 and KA122). Educators, including teachers, trainers, headteachers, and other educational staff, can apply for an Erasmus+ KA1 grant that covers travel, accommodation, meals, and course fees in full.
